Bakersfield has had a nice array of visitors "sampling" our club and I look forward to having these nice folks become regular .............4 couples over a 2 month summer season- cool (wish they'd all been there on the same nite::))
Classes start soon for Mondays and Tuesdays-hopefully they'll be on the Uptick as well.

We have an activity like no other! It was designed to make new friends, unlike paying to get herded into a room with a bunch of strangers, given a few laughs and leaving as strangers!
ReplyDeleteThe people who took it over made it into the being like every other kind of paid entertainment! It's time we take it back and let them do their stuff with only the friends they want to do it with!
Lessons are the best place to make new friends, once you leave there Cliques become to common. And, their idea of changing partners is you take mine and I'll take your's and we will dance in the same Square. Couples split apart to save places instead of running to get in your favorite Square, and some Clubs are rude enough that they allow spots to be saved without even a body in it!
Want to make some friends go to Class! Not as Angels, but to be part of the dance! When a new student picks a great dancer for a partner don't rip them out of their arms and replace them with someone no body wants to dance with! Have no Angels, just people there who want to dance!
Remember Class is nothing more than a Dance where you learn something new each week!
