2 New classes in Progress, 2 Advanced groups, 1 new plus group- Festivals, Parties and Normal weekend dances- That's the schedule for this season- Fun! Hopefully their will be less political BS this season- Anybody care to take bets?
If only we could channel all the energy we use selling stuff to existing dancers into getting new ones! New Dancers are the ones who are best at recruiting, and also the easiest to recruit to learn more! The Choice seems to be a few dancers who know lots of moves!
I've discovered that "Friendship Set to Music" has Friendship first. It sometimes takes 5 years to get our friends to join us! If we are to busy to invite and to busy to dance in class with them, or we climb so high up the tree they fall before they can reach us, we have what we have today!
Are we losing to many of the 80% of Friends who are never brought in, and trying to live off the Friends we make at Square Dancing which is only 20% to begin with?
